For outside corners, our one-piece beveled 2×4 trim eliminates the need for built-up assemblies, delivering a seamless, polished look while significantly reducing installation time and material costs.
For interior corners, Belco offers a tailored solution that seamlessly handles inside corners where siding meets. This cohesive single-piece 2×2 design ensures a clean, uniform appearance while providing the same time-saving, maintenance-reducing benefits as our outside corner trim piece. Unlike fiber cement and engineered wood, Belco XT Corner Trim comes in multiple lengths enabling builders to match platelines and reduce jobsite waste. Belco XT® Corner Trim is designed to simplify and enhance the installation process for both exterior and interior corner applications. Its innovative one-piece construction eliminates the need for aligning, cutting, and sealing multiple pieces, making it an efficient solution for builders looking to save time and reduce labor costs. For exterior applications, the pre-primed one-piece trim arrives ready to install, and requires no special tools or fasteners thanks to its non-metallic, preservative-treated design. To ensure optimal performance, install the corner board prior to applying siding. Leave a 3/16” expansion gap at the butt joint and seal it with a flexible, paintable caulk. Secure the trim using 8d galvanized fasteners, ensuring they penetrate a minimum of 1-¼” into the stud frame.
For inside corners, Belco offers a complementary solution where the siding meets. This cohesive design eliminates the need for separate pieces, ensuring a clean, uniform appearance while streamlining the installation process. Like the outside corner trim, the interior option is preservative treated and pre-primed and ready for quick application, offering builders and contractors a consistent and polished result throughout the project.
