Julie is the Senior Business Analyst at Belco Forest Products, otherwise know as “Official Data Geek.” Julie believes that hard work and flexibility are two attributes that embody the essence of a Belconian. When asked about what component of the Belco playbook she most aligns to and why, she shared that teamwork is most important. While Julie has held multiple roles during her time at Belco, she’s learned “it’s a great place to be when everyone knows their part and knows the machine doesn’t work without them in it, no matter how great or small their role may be.” One of Julie’s favorite Belco memories was when the crew presented her with a beautiful sign made from Belco product that spelled out her soon to be daughter’s name. Julie says it “was the epitome of ‘family company.’” In her free time, Julie enjoys hanging out with her “two goofballs” that call her mom. She also enjoys reading, baking, playing games, watching game shows, and re-binging Friends, The Office, and Parks & Rec. Speaking of Parks & Rec, Leslie Knope is the character Julie most relates to because she “works hard, plays hard, loves her friends, she’s great at gift-giving, and she enjoys a good waffle.”
